Minority Medical Colleges: Minority medical colleges are private medical colleges categorized as religious and linguistic minorities. MBBS admission in these medical colleges shall take place through common counselling conducted by the centralised counselling authorities of that particular state.
Deemed Medical Colleges: Deemed medical colleges in are affiliated to concern deemed universities that are granted autonomous status. These universities enjoy complete autonomy in drafting their MBBS course work for their constituent deemed medical colleges.
